Furniture Warranty

Seven Seas Seating by Bradington-Young's product is warranted to you, the original purchaser, as follows:

MECHANISMS Seven Seas Seating warrants to you, the original retail purchaser, protection against defective materials or workmanship covering all executive seating and reclining mechanisms for a period of five (5) years from the date of original purchase, based on reasonable use. After the first year of use, the mechanism warranty covers repair or replacement parts only and does not cover any associated labor or shipping costs.
MOTORIZED PARTS Seven Seas Seating warrants to you, the original retail purchaser, protection against defective materials or workmanship for a period of five (5) years from the date of original purchase, based on reasonable use. After the first year of purchase, the warranty covers repair or replacement parts only and does not cover associated labor or shipping costs.
FRAME PARTS Seven Seas Seating warrants to you, the original retail purchaser, protection against defective materials or workmanship for a period of five (5) years as long as it remains upholstered in the original covering and is used under normal conditions.
CUSHION CORES Seven Seas Seating warrants to you, the original retail purchaser, protection against abnormal loss of resiliency for a period of five (5) years from the date of original purchase, as long as it remains upholstered in the original covering and is used under normal conditions. Some softening of the foam core and fiber wrap should be expected and will not be considered defective.
FILLING MATERIALS Seven Seas Seating warrants to you, the original retail purchaser, protection against abnormal loss of resiliency of filling materials for a period of one (1) year from the date of original purchase as long as it remains upholstered in the original covering and is used under normal conditions. Compression of certain filling materials with use is normal and should not be considered loss of resiliency.
COVER WARRANTY
1. Fabric - As warranted by the Fabric Mill
  
  The Seven Seas Seating warranty of upholstery fabrics, will rely solely upon the warranty of the fabric manufacturer/mill when considering the wearing quality, color fastness, wrinkling and/or durability of any upholstery material in our broad line of upholstered covers. Any adjustment will be at the discretion of said fabric manufacturer/mill. This warranty does not cover fading, pilling, shrinkage or stretching and is not valid where there is evidence of heavy soiling. All fabric warranties are null and void if improperly cleaned or treated with a chemical fabric treatment.
2. Leather - As warranted by the Tannery
  
  Leather is a naturally beautiful product that has many distinguishing characteristics. Being a natural product, leather will contain "beauty marks" and no two hides are the same. Color variations, along with these "beauty marks" are nature's signatures and are the strength to each hide's individuality.
  
  There are several types of leathers:
  
  Finished Leathers: Finished leathers are the most consistent type of leather. Finished leathers are heavily pigmented and sometimes embossed to provide a more even, coloration & grain pattern throughout the hide.
  
  Aniline Plus Leathers: Aniline plus leathers are lightly pigmented to provide a slight protective finish. With this in mind, aniline plus leathers will be softer to the touch than most finished leathers and will also portray more "beauty marks."
  
  Aniline Leathers: Aniline leathers are the most delicate leathers available because they are not protected with any type of pigmentation or topcoat. All of nature's signatures will be prevalent in this type of leather which should be appreciated and admired.
CLAIMS PROCEDURE To make a claim under this warranty, please contact the dealer from whom the Seven Seas Seating upholstery product was purchased with your dated proof of purchase.

Warranty Limitations

Seven Seas Seating warranty does NOT include:

The wearing quality, durability, or color fastness of fabrics or leathers. This warranty does not cover fading, pilling, shrinkage or stretching and is not valid where there is evidence of heavy soiling.
Any condition resulting from incorrect or inadequate maintenance, cleaning or care. All fabric warranties are null and void if improperly cleaned or treated with a chemical fabric treatment. All leather warranties are null and void if improperly cleaned or conditioned.
Any condition resulting from other than ordinary residential wear, or use for which the product was not designed.
Normal softening and puddling of the foam and fibers in seat and back cushions, which should not be considered a defect, nor confused with abnormal wear and loss of resiliency. From time to time, your Seven Seas Seating will need "fluffing up" as any upholstered furniture does and should be regulated with use.
Seven Seas Seating highly recommends the use of an appropriate floor mat under its Executive Chairs. Failure to use such floor mats will result in caster failure and will void any claims to wood floor damage on all makes and models of flooring (wood, tile & linoleum).
